Steve Weston, already 23 years technical experience in the food industry, becomes the founder of Combico UK. A regional Service Partner for RATIONAL in the UK, focussed on the installation and lifetime service and maintenance of the range of SelfCooking Centres and Combination Ovens manufactured by Rational Ag of Landsberg Germany. 

Originally conceived in 2008 as a simple document access and management solution to offer customers, it quickly became evident there was a need for a parts identification, and purchasing system to complement the documentation. With this in mind, version 2.0 of the Parts, Technical, Purchasing (P.T.P) system was deveoloped and used within the industry, the concept eventually adopted and deveoloped by the manufacturer. 

Steve Weston becomes the lead trainer for Combico UK, applying a vast knowledge deveoloped across years within the industry working specifically with RATIONAL Appliances, passing his knowledge on to other technicians in the industy requiring official Rational Technical Training.

Established by Steve Weston, the team at Combilift UK direct its focus to developing a handling solution designed to resolve the appliance lifting challenges repeatedly encountered in the commercial catering industry, creating the first Combilift CL1 Safe Lifting machine. Meanwhile, Steve continues to train technicians on behalf of First Choice Catering Supplies (now Parts Town UK)
